About ReserVella

What is ReserVella?

ReserVella (in Arabic: ريزيرفيلا) is a hotel booking agency and travel curator for luxury Red Sea holidays, founded in 2023 and based in New Cairo, Egypt. We help Egyptian and Gulf families and couples choose and book 4- and 5-star resorts in Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh and Marsa Alam, including Pickalbatros hotels and Tawila Island, and we plan tailor-made trips on request.

We focus on Egypt's Red Sea coast and the Sinai Peninsula: Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh, Marsa Alam and Dahab.

Is ReserVella a legitimate company?

Yes. ReserVella is a hotel booking agency founded in 2023 and based in New Cairo, Egypt, operating at reservella.net. Before you pay, we send the price, rate type and cancellation terms in writing, and you pay by InstaPay or bank transfer. Our About page lists our company facts and the official contact channels, so you can check you are talking to us.

Do you book for guests from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf?

Planning & booking

How do I book a Red Sea resort through ReserVella?

Fill in the Design My Trip form with your dates, who is travelling, your destination or hotel and your preferred meal plan, or contact us directly on WhatsApp, phone or email. We then come back to you through your chosen channel with options for your dates.

What do the "from" prices on the website mean?

The "from" price is an indicative starting rate per night in Egyptian pounds (EGP) for Egyptian guests. Guests of other nationalities are quoted in US dollars (USD). The final price depends on your dates, room type, meal plan and availability, so we confirm the exact amount for your trip before you decide.

Which meal plans can I choose?

The trip form offers Breakfast Only, Half Board and All Inclusive. Availability and what is included depend on the hotel, and we confirm this for your chosen resort.

Can I request a specific room type or view?

Yes. In the trip form you can name the room type you want and choose a sea view, side sea view, pool view or garden view. We check what is available for your dates and tell you.

Can I ask about a hotel that is not listed on the website?

Yes. The website shows a selection of featured resorts. If you have another hotel in mind, enter its name in the trip form and we will check whether we can arrange it.

Do you arrange airport transfers?

Yes. Private transfers and airport assistance are part of our planning service. Share your flight details and we arrange the transfer between the airport and your hotel.

How do I pay for my booking?

You can pay by InstaPay or by bank transfer. We send you the confirmed price and payment details for your hotel and dates before you pay.

What are the cancellation terms?

Cancellation terms are set by each hotel and depend on the rate you book. We tell you the exact cancellation conditions for your hotel and dates before you pay, so you know them in advance.

Destinations & timing

What is the best time to visit the Red Sea in Egypt?

March to May and September to November are the most comfortable months, with warm sunny days and a sea that is pleasant for swimming and snorkelling. Winter is mild with cooler evenings, and summer is very hot but has the warmest water. Our best-time guide breaks this down month by month.

Which airport should I fly into?

Fly into the airport nearest your resort: Hurghada (HRG) for Hurghada, El Gouna and Sahl Hasheesh; Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) for Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab; and Marsa Alam (RMF) for Marsa Alam. Cairo is an alternative gateway for longer itineraries.

Is the Red Sea good for snorkelling and diving?

Yes. The Egyptian Red Sea is known for warm, clear water and coral reefs, and many resorts have a house reef or a diving centre. Reef access varies by hotel, so tell us if snorkelling or diving is a priority.

Do I need a visa for Egypt?

Egyptian citizens do not need a visa. For other guests it depends on nationality and residence, and the rules can change, so check the current requirements on Egypt's official e-visa portal (visa2egypt.gov.eg) or with the Egyptian consulate before you travel.

Hotels & stays

Do you have adults-only resorts?

Yes. Two adults-only (16+) all-inclusive resorts are on our hotels page: Pickalbatros Blu Spa Adults Only in Hurghada and Pickalbatros Royal Grand Resort in Sharm El Sheikh. Pickalbatros Laguna Vista in Sharm El Sheikh also has adults-only swim-up rooms. Ask us if you would like more adults-only options for your dates.

Which resorts are best for families?

Resorts with large pool areas, aqua parks and kids' clubs suit families best. On our hotels page, Pickalbatros Sea World Resort in Marsa Alam lists a mega aqua park and 17 pools, and Pickalbatros Palace Sharm lists an aqua park and kids club.

Do hotels in Egypt ask couples for a marriage certificate?

Many hotels in Egypt ask Egyptian couples, and often Arab couples, to show a marriage certificate at check-in, while foreign couples are usually not asked. The rule is set by each hotel, so we confirm it for your hotel before you book.

Is there a private island or overwater option?

Tawila Island Resort is a private-island stay on the Red Sea, reached by boat, with overwater bungalows listed among its amenities.
