The Oberoi, Sahl Hasheesh is a five-star, all-suite beach resort set in 48 acres of gardens on a white sandy beach in Sahl Hasheesh, about 20 minutes from Hurghada International Airport. Every room is a suite, and the most private ones have their own pool.
With a 43 m infinity pool, a private pier for dinners and boat cruises, an Indian restaurant with live music and a garden spa, it is one of the most refined stays on the Red Sea, a natural choice for couples and honeymooners, while families are welcome too.
Deluxe Suites (85 m² in total) have a garden view, a separate lounge and a sunken marble bathtub; Superior Deluxe Suites sit on the beachfront with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Red Sea. Grand Suites (125 m²) and the Royal Suite (225 m², with an outdoor dining pavilion) each have a 6.8 m private pool. Suites sleep up to two.
The Restaurant serves international food at breakfast and dinner, indoors, on the terrace or in the courtyard. Zaafran serves Indian cuisine with live traditional music, and The Pergola serves meals by the pool and on the beach. The Bar looks over the infinity pool and the sea, and the Beach Bar serves cocktails and grilled food. Private dinners can be set up on the pier.
The 43 m infinity pool has an adults-only area, two whirlpools and a children's splash pool. The Oberoi Spa, in a private garden, offers Balinese, Thai and signature treatments with a couples suite and steam room. A PADI dive centre runs dives and courses, and free activities include a scuba introduction, cooking classes, wine tastings and yoga, with boat cruises and Luxor day trips on request.
Fly into Hurghada International Airport (HRG); the road transfer is roughly 20 to 30 minutes. We can arrange a private transfer.
Best time to visit: Sunny all year. March–May and September–November are the most balanced. Summer is hot with a warm sea; winter is mild with cooler evenings.
