Pickalbatros Aqua Park Resort Hurghada

Pickalbatros Aqua Park Resort Hurghada is a 4-star all-inclusive family resort on the Villages Road, about 15 minutes from Hurghada International Airport. It is the original hotel of a three-hotel complex with Aqua Blu and Aqua Vista, and guests can eat and drink across all three.

Its aqua park has 9 giant adult slides and a kids' aqua park with 16 slides, and the wider complex adds a wave pool, the Midway Street funfair and VR games. The beach is a free shuttle ride away, so it suits families who care most about slides and value.

Rooms

Deluxe Rooms (32 m²) with garden or pool views and a private balcony sleep up to four, and family rooms have two bedrooms. Rooms have a 40-inch TV and blackout curtains; buildings have three floors without lifts.

Dining across three hotels

Culina and East & West are on site, and all-inclusive covers Soprano at Aqua Vista, Tagine at Aqua Blu, food courts, a bakery and the Colonies à la carte restaurant once per stay. On-site bars include Columbus, the Olympus pool bar and the Aqua Bar, with more bars in the two sister hotels.

Slides, sport and evenings

Nine giant adult slides and a kids' aqua park with 16 slides are on site, with a wave pool and jacuzzis in the complex. The free Alba Kids Club takes ages 4 to 12, Midway Street's rides are free in the evenings, and padel, tennis and pickleball are paid.

Fly into Hurghada International Airport (HRG). Resort transfers are typically 15 to 45 minutes depending on the area. Cairo is the main alternative gateway for longer itineraries.

Best time to visit: Hurghada is sunny almost all year. March–May and September–November balance warm days with a comfortable sea. Winter is mild with cooler evenings. Summer is hot, but the sea is at its warmest.
