Pickalbatros Golf Beach Resort is a 5-star all-inclusive resort on Um Marikha Bay in Sharm El Sheikh, about 9 km from the airport, set in 210,000 m² of gardens beside an 18-hole golf course. Much of the resort is being refreshed for 2026, with new Deluxe rooms, a redesigned pool area, a new spa and a new beach area.

Few all-inclusive resorts offer this much dining choice: Lebanese, Japanese, Mediterranean, Italian and oriental restaurants, plus an Irish pub. A sandy beach with a children's lagoon and a jetty out to a coral reef make it a good fit for golfers, couples and families.

Rooms and suites

Deluxe rooms have garden, pool or sea views, Executive rooms in the Royal Wings have a bathtub and shower, and larger Grand and Presidential suites and a five-bedroom villa are available. Rooms have a 50-inch TV.

Restaurants and bars

Les Palmiers is the main buffet, joined by Vintage Bistro (Italian), Dolphin (Mediterranean), Mezze (Lebanese), Tagine (oriental) and Bonsai (Japanese), plus a pool food court. Bars include the Lobby Bar, the Pirate Beach Bar, the Sunset Bar and an Irish Pub.

Golf, beach and pools

The 18-hole course is on the property (green fees are paid). The private beach has a shallow sandy lagoon for children and a 25 m jetty to a natural reef. Pools include a main pool with slides, a heated Royal Wings pool, a seawater pool and a lazy river, and guests share an aqua park with Luxury Suites next door. The kids club takes ages 4 to 12.

Good to know before you book

  • Golf is not part of all-inclusive: book tee times through the golf office.
  • Children: the first child under 12 stays free and a second child aged 2–11 pays half the adult rate; in a family room both children under 12 stay free. Bring birth certificates to check-in; guests aged 12 and over count as adults.
  • Egyptians and residents can book a special room rate. A valid Egyptian ID, Egyptian passport or residency must be shown at check-in, or extra charges apply. Egyptians pay in Egyptian pounds; under Egyptian law, foreign guests pay in foreign currency.
  • The Honeymoon Offer room requires a marriage certificate issued within the last three months.
  • Pets are not allowed.

Getting to Sharm El Sheikh

Most guests fly into Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH). Depending on the resort area, the road transfer is usually between 10 and 30 minutes. We can arrange a private transfer — just share your flight details.

Best time to visit: Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are the most comfortable. Winter days are mild but evenings and the sea are cooler. Summer is hot and dry, with the warmest sea, and suits guests who love heat and long pool-and-reef days.
