Pickalbatros Palace Sharm

Pickalbatros Palace Resort Sharm El Sheikh is a large 5-star all-inclusive resort in the Montazah area of Ras Nasrani Bay, about 10 minutes from Sharm El Sheikh airport and 15 minutes from Naama Bay. Some booking sites list it as "Pickalbatros Palace Sharm – Aqua Park" after its two water parks; it is a different hotel from the group's Aqua Park Resort at Hadaba.

With 863 rooms, 12 outdoor pools, an adults' and a kids' aqua park, a private beach with a jetty out to a natural coral reef and a free kids club, it is built for active family holidays, while couples have plenty of space, eight bars and an adults-only spa.

Rooms, family rooms and villas

Deluxe Rooms (34 m²) come with garden, pool, side-sea, sea or beach-front views. Deluxe Family Rooms have separate sleeping and living areas, Junior Suites have a sea view and private balcony, and Beach Front Villas (90 m²) open straight onto the beach. Rooms have air conditioning, a safe, a kettle, a minibar and Wi-Fi, and all are non-smoking. Six adapted rooms for guests with disabilities can be requested in advance.

Restaurants and bars

All-inclusive dining covers buffet restaurants including Restro and Mediterranean (international), Soprano (Italian), East&West (Asian, oriental and Turkish) and Culina, plus the Cilantro à la carte restaurant and a food court for snacks, with a bakery and ice-cream corner. Eight bars include a 24-hour Lobby Bar, a pool bar, a beach bar, a Sky Bar with sea views and an aqua park bar. The hotel asks guests to reserve for buffet and à la carte dining.

Pools, aqua parks and the reef

There are 12 outdoor pools (four heated in winter) and two children's pools, an adults' aqua park and a kids' aqua park with seven slides each. The private sandy beach has free sunbeds, umbrellas and towels, and a 150 m jetty leads to a natural coral reef for snorkelling, with a small shallow lagoon for children; reef shoes are recommended. A paid diving and water-sports centre is on site.

Kids club, sports and evenings

The free Alba Kids Club welcomes children from age 4, with a large outdoor play area and a mini disco every evening. Free sports include beach volleyball, tennis, padel, mini-golf, basketball, table tennis and billiards, and the gym is free. Evenings bring live music and shows in the open-air amphitheatre. The spa (adults only) offers paid massages and treatments, with a sauna and steam bath.

Most guests fly into Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH). Depending on the resort area, the road transfer is usually between 10 and 30 minutes. We can arrange a private transfer — just share your flight details.

Best time to visit: Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are the most comfortable. Winter days are mild but evenings and the sea are cooler. Summer is hot and dry, with the warmest sea, and suits guests who love heat and long pool-and-reef days.
