Pickalbatros Aqua Vista Resort Hurghada

Pickalbatros Aqua Vista Resort is a 4-star, sports-focused all-inclusive resort on the Safaga road in Hurghada, part of a complex with the Aqua Park and Aqua Blu resorts. Guests can eat and drink across all three hotels, which gives you far more restaurants and bars than a resort of 326 rooms usually has.

It is not on the beach: a free shuttle runs every 30 minutes to the shared beach about 600 m away. In return you get an adults' aqua park, a kids' aqua park, an Olympic pool, running tracks and four padel courts, so it suits active couples and families who care more about sport and pools than about a beachfront room.

Rooms

Rooms (41 m²) have garden or pool views and sleep up to four, and two-bedroom family rooms (82 m²) suit larger families. All have air conditioning, a safe, a 40-inch TV, a minibar with water and a balcony or terrace. The buildings have three floors and no lifts, and two accessible rooms can be requested.

Dining across three hotels

All-inclusive guests can use the restaurants and bars of Aqua Vista, Aqua Park and Aqua Blu: buffets such as Culina, East & West, Soprano and Tagine, the Colonies à la carte restaurant once per stay, food courts and a 24-hour bakery. Aqua Vista's own bars include the Lobby Bar, the Cubana pool bar and the rooftop Red Sky Bar.

Pools, aqua parks and sport

The complex has an adults' aqua park and a kids' aqua park (9 adult and 16 children's slides), several pools, an Olympic pool (paid, heated in winter) and 60 m and 400 m running tracks. Padel (four courts), pickleball, tennis and a multi-court are paid; the gym, table tennis and beach volleyball are free.

Kids and evenings

The free kids club takes children aged 4 to 12, and the Midway Street funfair (19 attractions) and free VR games for ages 6 and up keep evenings busy. The spa (adults only) offers paid massages and a sauna.

Fly into Hurghada International Airport (HRG). Resort transfers are typically 15 to 45 minutes depending on the area. Cairo is the main alternative gateway for longer itineraries.

Best time to visit: Hurghada is sunny almost all year. March–May and September–November balance warm days with a comfortable sea. Winter is mild with cooler evenings. Summer is hot, but the sea is at its warmest.
